EXCLUSIVE-The Original Kings Of Comedy Set To Return To The Stage!

Posted Nov 7, 2010

We have just discovered from a very reliable source that the the Original Kings Of Comedy are set to return to the stage!

That’s right, after 12 years since the Original Kings of Comedy (which featured the late Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer and D.L. Hughley) toured the country and broke box office records as the highest grossing stand up comedy performance film ever, word has leaked to us that the Kings are set for a single comedic performance with the official announcement to be made soon; probably in the next 72 hours.

The tour, which was originally produced by Walter Latham, grossed over 37 million dollars in two years and eventually ended up as a feature film. No official word yet on who is producing this upcoming tour.

For several years after the Kings tour had run it’s course rumors had circulated that The Original Kings were going to have a re-union tour, but after the very successful careers of Harvey, Mac, Hughley and Cedric, balancing the potential tour and scheduling became a task all into itself, and the deals always fell apart.

Then after the untimely death of Bernie Mac it was then believed that the tour was not going to happen at all- until now.

But wait; there’s more! With the announcement of this tour we hear that the Kings are going to also make another startling announcement as they will introduce a comedian who will join them for this one time engagement!

The question that will then be on everyone’s mind will be who will be funny enough to join the Kings? Stay tuned as we will have the EXCLUSIVE details of the comedy show in three days (or less), and introduce you to the newest King!

Question or comments? Leave a comment below and tell us who you think should join the Kings!
