Finally, we can release a little bit of some information about a special treat we have planned at out First Urban Comedy Festival titled The Jestfest that we have been planning for a little while now.
We can now tell you that the folks of Russel Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam have agreed to have a special panel where they will be talking about their past 20 years, and how they changed the comedy industry.
The panel will include several special guests, names of which we can’t release just yet, but they will attend. One name we can release is Bob Sumner, who was instrumental in discovering talent for the show that launched the careers of many comedian we have come to love today.
The Jestfest Urban Comedy Festival will take place in Burbank CA March 19-20th, 2013 at the AMC Burbank Theater, Flappers Comedy Club, and several other venues being added now.
