Chris Rock Stops by ‘SNL’ For Election Night Spoof!

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock weren’t quite as shocked as their white friends about Donald Trump’s election in a recent Saturday Night Live sketch.

The duo joined friends for election night on Tuesday in the scene, when other people slowly began to realize that “Trump might actually win.”

As one friend began to do the math as votes poured in, she realized, “Oh my God, I think America is racist.”

Chappelle responded: “Oh my God. You know I remember my great-grandfather told me something like that. He was a slave…”

The group wondered why voters weren’t turning out for Hillary Clinton like they did for Barack Obama, which made Rock and Chappelle laugh.

“Maybe because you’re replacing a charismatic black guy with a 70-year-old white woman,” joked Rock. “That’s like the Knicks replacing Patrick Ewing with Neil Patrick Harris.”

“You guys were right, it’s a historic night. Don’t worry, eight years are gonna fly by,” said Chappelle.

“Get some rest,” said Rock, “you got a big day of moping and writing on Facebook tomorrow.”
