2 New Divas Added To Season 2 Of 'R&B Divas LA' As Production Begins!

Hollywood

Yesterday TV One announced that production on season 2 of its wildly popular reality series R&B Divas LA will begin this month on-location in Los Angeles.

We hear that in addition to returning cast members Chanté Moore, Lil’ Mo, Michel’le and Claudette Ortiz, the second season will feature new divas Chrisette Michele and Leela James.

According to the release the series is scheduled to premiere sometime after April 2014.

“The debut season of R&B Divas LA set the tone as a series all about glamour and high-stakes drama,” said D’Angela Proctor, SVP Programming and Production, TV One. “As we gear up to shoot season two, we anticipate that the addition of two lovely and respected solo artists, Chrisette and Leela, will build upon the impassioned, ever-evolving group dynamic that season one viewers embraced.”

I enjoyed R&B Divas LA…it turned me into an even bigger fan of Chante Moore and Lil Mo. Glad to hear Frick and Frack won’t be back (Kelly Price and her minion, Dawn Robinson): their behavior was so uncalled for that even the Love-N-Hip Hop cast were probably saying, “That’s just ig’nant.”

First of all Kelly is a strong person to deal with Chante Moore she has a take over spirit, for Kelly price to back out of a show that man women look bad like there against each other especially BLACK women the world does that enough, I give Kelly Price her props for that, Kelly has always been a classy lady and your not going to ever make her look like a fool.
