Terry Crews On Board As New Host Of 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'!

Posted May 1, 2014

Yesterday it was officially announced that Cedric the Entertainer had officially resigned from his hit syndicated show,Who Wants To Be A Millionaire because of his busy schedule (shooting The Soul Man, several films, and his new podcast) as well as the production’s recent announcement of a move to Connecticut which was prompted by economic reasons.

Yesterday afternoon several industry websites were reporting that Terry Crews was on board to take the helm, and we can confirm that it looks like Crews is going to close that deal soon.

Crews, most recently of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Expendables franchise has had conversations with Disney/ABC about the show and depending on the deal should move in rather quickly and despite several other reports is the only real candidate that the network execs are looking at.

We also hear that this will not interfere with several of his film projects that Crews has on the table.
