There have been several trailers and/or teasers for Deadpool 2, but now in its second, full-length trailer, we finally get a taste of some action!

The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Josh Brolin as Cable, Zazie Beet as Domino. Other cast members are Morena Baccarin, Terry Crews, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Stefan Kapicic, and Karan Soni. It is still unknown what Crews’ role is.
While this trailer is action-packed, we still don’t know a lot of the plot, but we can gather from it that this film will show the formation of the X-Force. There was a faux synopsis of the film released with this trailer as well, but don’t take it to heart: “After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”
The sequel, which has reportedly tested higher than the original, will be released May 18.

The film was but on an extreme fast track. Director X and Jackson were first announced to be attached to the film last December, with Mitchell and other key casting announcements announced in January, along with the speedy June 2018 release date. Production just recently wrapped in Atlanta.
Jackson will lead the film as Youngblood Priest, with Mitchell set to co-star Eddie, Lex Scott Davis as Georgia, Michael K. Williams as Scatter, Andrea Londo as Cynthia, Allen Maldonado as Litty, Jacob Ming-Trent as Fat Freddy and Omar Chapparo as Adalberto.
Future has curated the soundtrack and is producing with Joel Silver and Steven R. Shore, the son of the original film’s producer Sig Shore, will be an executive producer with Matthew Hirsch, Hal Sadoff and Aaron Ausch. Alex Tse is writing the script.
The original film, which was directed by Gordon Parks, Jr. starred Ron O’Neal as Youngblood Priest, a cocaine dealer trying to get out of the business, and centers on him securing one last deal before getting out. It resulted in two sequels, Super Fly T.N.T. and The Return of Superfly.
Parks, Jr.’s father (Gordon Parks), directed Shaft, which is considered the staple film in blaxploitation genre that took that generation by storm. The original Super Fly’s soundtrack, written and produced by Curtis Mayfield, was even more successful than the film, outgrossing its movie counterpart.
The film itself, now a cult classic, did garner criticism because of its portrayal of black people and drugs.
Director X, whose real name is Julien Christian Lutz, is an accomplished music video director, doing work for the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. His feature directorial debut was the Canadian drama film, Across the Line, which starred Stephan James.
This Super Fly remake comes as there is a booming development market for blaxploitation remakes. Kylie Bunbury is starring in a Get Christie Love TV series for ABC, Meagan Good is starring in a Foxy Brown series for Hulu, Jessie T. Usher is starring in an Untitled Shaft reboot and Misha Green is writing a Cleopatra Jones film remake — just to name a few.
Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has been cast in a series regular role for the upcoming Fox comedy pilot, Our People, from Lee Daniels and Modern Family EP Vali Chandrasekaran.

Thirty-four years have passed, but the rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence remains in the trailer for YouTube Red series “Cobra Kai.”
The streaming platform released the trailer for the upcoming “Karate Kid” spinoff, where Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will reprise their roles as adversaries.
The clip opens with a scene from the final “Karate Kid” battle, when Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso defeats Zabka’s Johnny Lawrence before flashing forward to present day. While Daniel is thriving with his own car dealership, Johnny appears to be struggling until he witnesses a teenager being bullied by a group of students.
Johnny defends the helpless teenager and decides to reopen karate dojo Cobra Kai. He then becomes the teenager’s sensei, but Daniel isn’t on board. “He thinks he can bring Cobra Kai back to the valley. Not on my watch,” Daniel says.
The preview ends with Daniel seemingly preparing for a fight and telling Johnny they aren’t done.
The series is written and executively produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. It is produced by Overbrook Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television.
The show debuts at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 24 before premiering on YouTube Red on May 2. Watch the trailer below.

Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon are forced to join the spy game in the first trailer for the Lionsgate comedy “The Spy Who Dumped Me.”
The trailer, released Wednesday, intros the duo as masters of spycraft with the proclamation “In 2018, women are killing it,” followed by a James Bond-style montage with Michael Buble singing Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good.”
That tone is quickly eliminated as Kunis and McKinnon — who play best friends — fail at trying to abscond a car because Kunis cannot drive a stick shift and the car crashes into a newstand at 3 miles per hour.
It turns out that the pair has been unexpectedly thrust into an international conspiracy when Justin Theroux, portraying the ex-boyfriend of Kunis’ character and a former CIA agent, shows up at her apartment with a team of deadly assassins on his trail.
They find themselves on the run in Europe from the assassins and a British agent, played by Sam Heughan. By the end of the trailer, they’re driving like pros and offing villains. “Oh my god, oh my god, I just killed someone,” Kunis shrieks while running through the street.
Susanna Fogel directed from a script she wrote with David Iserson. Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are the producers through Imagine Entertainment. The film was shot in Budapest, Hungary, last summer. “The Spy Who Dumped Me” lands in theaters on Aug. 3.
