A source at that show says that MGK “was actually hilarious.” We’re told MGK lost a bet to Davidson — over taking his shirt off at his big birthday party this week — and that’s what led to him taking the stage.
The manager of the club posted of photo of herself with Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly, writing, “Amazing evening with @petedavidson and @machinegunkelly glad you had to pay a bet to Pete !! It was worth it!! !! Hilarious night love you guys!!”
In an application for temporary conservatorship, the director’s mother said that he was involved in a “lucrative settlement agreement” at the time of the medical emergency.
John Singleton is currently in a coma after suffering a “major stroke,” his mother has written in an application for temporary conservatorship.
Sheila Ward applied to be the 51-year-old Snowfall co-creator’s temporary conservator, a judge-appointed individual who looks over a person’s health and finances when they cannot do it themselves, in an application to California’s Superior Court on Thursday. The document details some previously undisclosed circumstances of Singleton’s stroke, such as that the medical incident on April 17 was “major” and left him hospitalized in a coma.
Ward also disclosed that the director “was engaged in several business projects and was prepared to sign a lucrative settlement agreement on or about April 30, 2019” at the time of the stroke. Ward added that a conservator must be appointed immediately to manage his business and prevent “substantial financial loss” should the settlement agreement not be signed.
Over the weekend, Singleton’s family disclosed that the director has suffered a stroke in the hospital and was “in the ICU and under great medical care.” The announcement was met with a wave of support for Singleton on social media, producing messages from Snoop Dogg, Guillermo del Toro and Billions co-creator Brian Koppelman, among others.
Singleton, who broke out with the Oscar-nominated Boyz n the Hood, which earned him mentions for both director and screenplay, has also helmed Shaft, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Four Brothers, the music video for Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Time” and episodes of Empire, Billions, 30 for 30 and American Crime Story. FX has renewed Snowfall for a third season, which was filming earlier this month.
“We are sad to learn the news of John’s condition, but we know he’s a fighter. The thoughts and prayers of everyone at FX and his Snowfall family are with him and we are hopeful for a complete and speedy recovery,” FX Networks said in a statement to THR over the weekend.

Bill Cosby Accuses Judge Of ‘Racial Hatred’ In Bail Application
Lawyers for Bill Cosby filed a bail application on his behalf Wednesday, as they accused the judge who sentenced him to prison of being part of a corrupt, racist plot against him.
In a statement posted to Cosby’s Instagram account, attorneys for the disgraced comedian — who has called himself a “political prisoner” like Nelson Mandela — claimed Judge Steven O’Neill found their client guilty because he is black.
“His dishonorable conduct makes me smile, because this judge is being exposed, and it shows that this is bigger than me,” the post reads. “O’Neill now has his formula: tried, true and tested to destroy any black man and/or colored man In America.”
Cosby’s lawyers on Wednesday filed an application requesting the imprisoned sex offender be released on bail during an appeal process, arguing that O’Neill displayed “racial hatred” toward Cosby.
The 81-year-old actor is serving a three- to 10-year sentence in a prison outside Philadelphia after he was convicted in 2017 of drugging and sexually assaulting friend Andrea Constand.
More than 60 women came forward claiming to have been sexually assaulted by the actor, who has denied any wrongdoing. If an appeal is raised, trial judges are obliged to prepare a brief statement listing the reasons for sentencing. This is called Rule 1925(a). In Cosby’s case, O’Neill has yet to file this 1925(a) opinion despite repeated appeals from his legal team.
“Judge Steven T. O’Neill continues to show his disgust and prejudice towards Mr. Cosby,” his lawyers argued Wednesday. “Judge O’Neill is purposely denying Mr. Cosby the right to file his appeal.”
“We’re asking that this scandalous judge be removed immediately, and Mr. Cosby be granted bail throughout the appeals process, because the judge’s racial hatred towards Mr. Cosby, clouds his better judgement to be a good steward of the bench.”
The convicted actor is also fighting a $7 million legal bill from one of the many law firms he hired during his trial. In February, the disgraced star claimed he was imprisoned because of his political beliefs.
“My political beliefs, my actions of trying to humanize all races, genders and religions landed me in this place surrounded by barb wire fencing, a room made of steel and iron,” he said in a statement at the time.
At his sentencing last September, O’Neill sided with the state in determining that Cosby was a “sexually violent predator,’’ a drastic designation. O’Neill had refused to let Cosby remain free on $1 million bail pending his appeal, saying the infamous sex offender “could quite possibly be a danger to the community.”
Matthew Knowles Is Producing A Musical About R&B Group Destiny’s Child
Former Destiny’s Child manager, otherwise known as Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles, is capitalizing on his experiences managing the iconic girl group and has plans to produce a musical which will feature Destiny’s Child’s vast catalog.
In a statement obtained by Broadway, Knowles revealed Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical will premiere in the group’s hometown of Houston in 2020 before heading across the pond to London’s West End.
“I want to pull back the curtain,” the 67-year-old said. “I feel it’s time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I’ve had as a husband, father and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams—those of mine and others.”
According to Playbill, the father of four will be working alongside film director Je’Caryous Johnson to bring his story to the stage. Knowles did not reveal who will play Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and former members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson. Beyoncé severed managerial ties with her father in 2011, the same year he and family matriarch Tina Knowles-Lawson split.
The “Sorry” singer was last publicly photographed with her father in October 2018, when she and husband Jay-Z performed in Seattle during their worldwide “On The Run II” tour.
Knowles opened up about their reunion to TMZ days later.
“It was a warm and enduring positive moment. I wanted to surprise her by bringing her a dozen lovely red roses. And so I sat in the dressing room area—she didn’t know I was out there. And Tina was out there and some other folks were out there,” he shared. “And Beyoncé came out and there I was. And she gave me this huge, huge hug that only daughters can give to their dads.”

Katt Williams Ordered To Pay Alleged Assault Victim $25,000 In Default Judgment
The comedian stood accused of attacking a fan at his after party.
Three years ago, a fan accused comedian Katt Williams of assaulting him for no reason. Tyrell Williams, a fan, says that at an after party for one of Katt’s shows, he tried to take a SnapChat photo of the actor. According to Tyrell, this angered Katt causing the comedian to “suddenly and without warning” hit Tyrell’s iPhone out of his hand. Tyrell then states in court documents that Katt punched him in the face three times before running from the scene.
The alleged victim filed a police report and issued a lawsuit against Katt. He claimed he suffered from a number of injuries in addition to mental anguish, and sued for unspecified damages. According to reports, Katt blew off the lawsuit so a judge granted Tyrell a default judgment of $25,000. This is just the tip of the iceberg in legal troubles for the actor, as his lawyer in another case has filed a motion requesting to be removed as Williams’ representation.
Matthew Gurvitz of Venable LLP is representing Williams in a lawsuit against him where a former assistant claims that Williams viciously attacked her by throwing her to the ground before slamming her head into the concrete. She claims that she lost consciousness and required hospitalization and is seeking $1 million. Gurvitz says that Williams has “become unreasonably difficult for Venable to carry out effective representation,” mostly because of Katt’s “general lack of communication.”
Williams has requested that the lawsuit filed by his former assistant be dismissed. Meanwhile, a Portland judge recently issued a bench warrant against Williams after he failed to appear in court. Those charges stem from an incident in October where the comedian is charged with assault.
