Eric André To Lead New Action‑Comedy Titled ‘Synergy Systems’

Posted Mar 29, 2026

Eric André is gearing up for a new kind of chaos. The comedian and actor has signed on to star in Synergy Systems, an action‑comedy written by Toby Harvard, marking André’s latest leap into high‑energy, genre‑bending storytelling.

The film centers on a dysfunctional corporate security team whose attempt to modernize their outdated operation spirals into a full‑blown, high‑stakes disaster. André plays the team’s unpredictable leader, whose questionable methods collide with a crisis far bigger than anything the company handbook ever prepared them for.

Known for pushing boundaries on The Eric André Show and bringing unhinged humor to films like Bad Trip, André is a natural fit for a project blending physical comedy, workplace satire, and explosive action. Synergy Systems gives him room to lean into both his comedic instincts and his growing presence in mainstream film.

Toby Harvard, whose writing credits include the cult‑favorite The Greasy Strangler, brings his signature off‑kilter sensibility to the script. The pairing of Harvard’s surreal comedic voice with André’s fearless performance style sets the stage for a film that promises to be as wild as it is unpredictable.

The project adds to André’s expanding list of film and television roles, including recent appearances in Sing 2, The Righteous Gemstones, and Netflix’s Disenchantment. Synergy Systems positions him once again at the center of a comedic world where anything can — and inevitably will — go wrong.

More details, including additional casting and production timelines, are expected to be announced soon.
