We just discovered from our friends at the TV Guide Channel that comedian and actor David Alan Grier will make a guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU this season in a very dramatic role.
We hear that Grier is scheduled to portray a defense attorney named Jeremy Swift in an upcoming episode titled Branded,which is scheduled to air October 20th.
Our sources also say that Grier’s performance was so good that there would be no surprise if his name was mentioned for an Emmy Award next year in the category of guest appearances.
