According to our sources, we hear that comedians Chris Spencer and Jackie Fabulous will both be premiering their brand new stand-up specials next month on Hulu, as a part of the streamer’s Black History Month lineup.
Both of these specials are from Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat, which has brought Hulu the exclusive license on these new specials. These deals further strengthen Hartbeat’s growing partnership with Hulu -also recently releasing LOL Live on the platform.
Produced by Hartbeat, LOL Live flaunted ten new 30-minute specials from top comedians, including Chico Bean, Devon Walker, Sydnee Washington, and the Late Ken Flores.
In his new special, GOAT Adjacent, Chris Spencer breaks down marriage, family, aging, race, and his Jamaican roots with fearless honesty, precision, and the kind of experience you get from working alongside comedy’s all-time greats. The special was produced by Vanessa Spencer, Will Lowery, and Buddy Lewis for Guerilla Hollywood and Bronxwood Productions. Payne Brown, Michael Dobson, and Dr. Will Draper served as Executive Producers. Michael Mihail directed the project, which was shot at the historic Cicada in Downtown Los Angeles.

Jackie Fabulous brings big, unapologetic energy-spilling hilarious truths about ex-husbands, diet pills, menopause, and what people do that drives you nuts in her new special titled You Can Leave. Charisma, killer timing, and heart make this hour bold, joyous, and very, very fabulous. You Can Leave was directed by Charlie Fonville and produced by Super Nice Guys Productions.
