Chris Brown was arrested Tuesday afternoon on felony assault charges.
A spokesperson with the LAPD told Variety the singer was arrested and formally charged for assault with a deadly weapon following an incident early Tuesday morning.
Brown allegedly pulled a gun on Baylee Curran during an altercation. Curran then filed a report and cops obtained a search warrant for his property.
Brown barricaded himself in his home while the police conducted their investigation. At one point, he threw a bag out of his window that contained guns and drugs.
