Actress Regina King Co-Directs New Documentary Titled 'Story Of A Village'!

Posted Jun 3, 2012

If you were not aware, actress Regina King is quickly building up some momentum as a director in Hollywood. This talented actress, who turned heads as an actress in several projects most notably in the films Jerry McGuire, Ray, and in the new television hit series Southland, has quietly been plugging away at a career behind the camera as a director.

We are telling you this news because we just recently discovered that King, who directed R&B star Jaheim’s music video for his single Finding My Way Back is about to co-direct (with Dwayne Johnson-Cochran) a new documentary film titled Story Of A Village. Like her work before her, she intends to shock Hollywood with her new film that is about her trip to West Africa chronicling her day-by-day endeavors to build a school for underprivileged children. What she uncovers will disclose  lots of things that has never been seen or chronicled by someone in Hollywood before.

As of this writing the film is in post production and is expected to make the festival rounds next year.
