After posting the story about VH1’s Basketball Wives being canceled, and after reading a press release that was sent to us stating that the very popular show was cancelled, we got a call from the corporate offices over at Viacom stating that the show is NOT cancelled.
But what they did NOT deny was that there were some major issues about the show and some legal ramifications that are happening behind the scenes that generated these types of discussions. What they would say on record was “Basketball Wives is our number one rated show and we intend to fulfill its contract.” Which means we will see it for one more season despite the rumblings that its going to be canceled.
Either way, we will see.
