In between inciting rap battles, Yasiin Bey has decided to try his hand at stand-up comedy.
The Brooklyn emcee, who is equally known for his lyricism as well as his clever LOLs, did his first stand up show at the Cult of Montreal this week.
The show titled “Happy Birthday, Shut up!” was chock full of rap jokes, which included one-liners about Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj and Drake.
“Secretly, she’s a better rapper than both of them dudes,” the Black on Both Sidesartist said.
The venue was packed as Bey cracked jokes on everyone from Caitlyn Jenner to his ace, Kanye West.
