According to our sources, we hear that Black Entertainment Television is in the early stages to bring back Comic View: One Mic Stand!
Word is that the new series, to be produced again by James DuBose of DuBose Entertainment, probably best known as the Executive Producer and Production company behind the very successful BET reality show Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, will take the helm again. If you recall, DuBose produced BET’s last run at Comic View: One Mic Stand that aired in 2008 and was hosted by the then up-and-coming comedian Kevin Hart.
As of this writing, the network has not yet decided if they plan to launch it this year or the beginning of next year and there has been no discussion yet of the host.
