We have just discovered that the BET Awards 2011 is planning on doing something a little special this year. What is that you ask? Well, if you recall last year there was a surprise sketch performance that enlisted Martin Lawrence and Jamie Foxx in a small feature titled Skank Robbers where they donned their infamous characters from Martin and In Living Color– their perspective shows. We hear that because of the popularity from that , BET is looking to expand on that section of the program. (If you recall the sketch became so popular and a Youtube phenomenon that Screen Gems green-lit a feature film that will star Lawrence, Foxx, and actress Halle Berry).
Well this year, we hear that host Kevin Hart is leading the way with a special performance that will include Nick Cannon, Anthony Anderson, Bobby Brown and Nelly but we are not sure if its going to be a musical parody or sketch. One thing is for sure the details will be revealed on Sunday!
