If you are not familiar, comedian Tony Rock (probably most known for Three Can Play That Game and Will and Jada Smith’s family-based sitcom, All of Us) is the host of the Jamie Foxx Executive Produced show Apollo Live! which has premiered on BET’s Centric TV.
Well, we just discovered that Rock was in New York this past weekend filming a brand new season of the show! This is news to us because we weren’t sure they were bringing the show back, and according to our sources, the show is doing well for Centric and they expect it to even do better for their targeted audience.
Here is an interview we conducted with Rock before he shot season one and he discussed the new show and other upcoming projects.
