According to our industry sources, we discovered that the latest Friday franchise film (yet to be officially titled) from Ice Cube is set to start pre-production in November!
We hear that everyone is back! Yes, Ice Cube, Mike Epps, Chris Tucker and Katt Williams are all signed on to the new film! We also hear that there are some minor details that need to be officially worked out by Universal Studios since they now own the franchise and since New Line Cinemas (which is the studio that first launched the films) is no longer, but once those details are done the film WILL move forward.
Also as of this writing and according to our sources, the script is being completed and the other cast members will be attached soon. We hear that offers will be made to Terry Crews, Sommore, John Witherspoon, Don ‘DC’ Curry, Rickey Smiley, Scruncho, and several others in the next couple of weeks.
