Steve Harvey To Host ‘Little Big Shots’ To Air This Spring On NBC!

Posted Jan 15, 2016

NBC, which dominated Sundays the first half of the television with “Sunday Night Football,” is turning to tykes as it makes a play for the night this spring.

The network announced Friday that new comedic alternative series “Little Big Shots,” from executiveproducers Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Harvey and hosted by Harvey, will bow March 13 at 8 p.m. The hourlong series, which will find Harvey going toe to toe with some of the smallest performers with the biggest talent, is scheduled to run eight weeks.

NBC has had lots of success with talent shows in the past, of course, as its “America’s Got Talent” has been summer’s top-rated program for the past decade. And Harvey found success in the same Sunday-at-8 timeslot last summer with ABC’s “Celebrity Family Feud.”

“Little Big Shots” showcases young talent, from musicians, singers and dancers to a 4-year-old basketball phenom, a 5-year-old reincarnation of Bruce Lee and every form of wunderkind from around the glove. In addition to DeGeneres and Harvey, Jeff Kleeman, Gerald Washington and Robin Ashbrook serve as executive producers, and Alison Holliway is the co-executive producer.

The series is produced by Warner Horizon Television, East 112th Street Productions and A Very Good Production.
