We just discovered from the Hollywood trades that R&B superstar Rihanna is about to jump into her first feature film titled Battleship, which is another feature film that is being created from the Hasbro board game.
This feature also stars Alexander Skarsgard (he also plays the vampire named Eric of True Blood fame) and Taylor Kitsch (Of Friday Night Lights fame) and takes place across the seas, the skies and over land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force. Kitsch stars as a Naval officer who leads the fight and Skarsgard will play his brother in the film.
The trades are reporting that the deal was announced Monday evening with director Peter Berg (of Hancock fame) expected to begin shooting shortly the live-action film.
