A couple of months ago we told you the news that veteran comedian and writer Paul Mooney (probably best known to the world as the veteran head writer for Richard Pryor and a writer for the iconic comedy sitcoms Good Times and Sanford & Sons) was hospitalized.
We had discovered then that Mooney, who is 72 years old, had been in and out of the hospital for months recovering from a recent surgery.
We can report today that Mooney was recently released a couple of days ago and is in better health- and back to doing comedy!
Mooney stated then that he was in the hospital because of an enlarged prostate, and despite several complications he is doing much better and had ‘the best doctors in the world’ taking care of him.
Now we are waiting to hear when Mooney will be on stage next!
Stay tuned for more details as this story is developing.
