According to several industry reports, we hear that comedian Mike Epps is going to join an ensemble cast that includes William H. Macy, John Leguizamo, Felicity Huffman, Emory Cohen, and Craig “muMs” Grant in the new dramatic film titled Stealing Cars. The film is also Executive Produced by Mark Wahlberg.
We hear that the film is the tale of a tragic car accident that sends a confident yet rebellious teen spiraling downward into the injustice of the juvenile penal system, where he encounters brutal conflicts and life-affirming friendships, ultimately finding self-forgiveness and renewed hope. The film is inspired by a true story.
No word yet on what character Epps or Grant will play, but we do know that Emory Cohen (who last appeared in the drama Four with Wendell Pierce) will play the lead.
