Gainesville, GA (AP/CBS46) –Katt Williams has been taken into custody for his involvement in a fight with a teen that went viral. He was arrested at his home by Hall County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Williams can be seen in the video punching 17-year-old Luke Washington in the face. The teen fights back, pulling Williams to the ground and placing him in a choke hold.
Warrants have been booked on an arrest order for violating his conditional bond in addition to disorderly conduct.
Williams is being held without bond, and will see a judge for his first appearance Thursday.
Williams’ arrest comes a day after a parent posted a photo of his son with a statement telling others Williams bought his son ice cream and left a big tip for the workers at Brusters in Sandy Springs.
