As we have been reporting for months, actor Jamie Foxx has joined the new Quentin Tarantino film titled Django Unchained. The film also stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington (who is riding high from ABC’s Scandal) just to name a few and won’t hit theaters until this Christmas.
As we have also reported, in the film Foxx plays as a slave bent on revenge against a plantation owner (DiCaprio) for selling off his wife (Washington). The film is also said to be a “spaghetti western” style revenge film, as Foxx says his character is “Richard Roundtree meets Clint Eastwood.”
