Yesterday news broke from an exclusive from Variety that comedian and actor Jamie Foxx has landed a role in the new Spider Man 2 film as the villain Electro!
The new film from Sony is expected to be released May 2, 2014, possibly titled The Amazing Spider Man 2.
If you are not familiar with the comic books story of the villain known as Electro, he is able to store, project, and manipulate electricity with his body, and can manipulate magnetic fields as well. Not only can he fly, but he can also travel along electricity lines and through electrical appliances.
The film is bringing back stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, with Marc Webb also set to return to direct.
