Comediennes attending the convention will participate in panel discussions and classes with curriculum topics such as: The Business of Comedy, Grant Writing, PR/marketing, negotiating tactics, GYST Circuit/getting yourself together, health & fitness and defense training offered by sponsor/partner Divas in Defense™. The convention program will be packed with entertainment and activities, including an honorary tribute recognizing and celebrating the life of actor/veteran comedienne Yvette Wilson (Aundell Wilkerson from the sitcoms The Parkers), who was succumbed by her battle against cervical cancer in 2012. This special luncheon tribute will include a host of friends, family and industry professionals on Sunday, April 28th from 3pm -7pm at The Game Sports Bar, 5630 W. Manchester Blvd., LA 90045.
