Filmmaker D. Channsin Berry Of 'Dark Girls' Fame Launches New Record Label & Hot New Artists!

Posted Apr 19, 2014

We just discovered the news that D. Channsin Berry, most recently one of the Executive Producers of the hit independent film Dark Girls (and at least 16 other films) has recently launched a brand new independent record label known as September Soul Music!

The new label will fall under the new parent company Chestnut Street Studios LLC., and will include Berry, as the Founder and CEO and Tony Magee, President.

The new label debuted yesterday with an explosive new artist known as Corey Cross who we feel will quickly be compared to R&B artists Jon B and even Robin Thicke, but can quickly separate himself with his own smooth distinctive sound with his new single, “Extremes”.

Extremes” is sure to climb all of the R&B charts, as it was written by music vets by Ray Hopkins Jr., Bernard Biddle, Foster E. Sylvers, Leon F. Sylvers IV and Leon F. Sylvers III. It was also produced by Leon F. Sylvers III, Foster E. Sylvers and Leon F. Sylvers IV.

What’s even more amazing is Berry becomes an artist himself as he launches his own single titled “Movin’” under his new musical moniker Electric Blue Man. His new single will easily gravitate to those who love the smooth relaxing sounds, as thoughts of R&B legend Frankie Beverly and Maze came to mind while this writer was listening to his debut track.

“Movin” was written by Berry and produced by Jeremy “Super J” Hanlon.

Both singles are available now on CDBaby.com, iTunes, Amazon.com and SeptemberSoulMusic.com.

That’s not it for Berry though, he has several other new artists coming out quickly as he has sign Ronnie G (Chicago), jazz saxophonist, Kenny Washington (of the Bay Area), jazz vocalist and Greg Walker (Los Angeles), former lead singer for Santana.

As you can see, Berry is quickly going to make a splash in the music industry, as he recently did with Dark Girls.
