A couple of weeks ago we reported that comedic actress Niecy Nash had just landed a new role on FOX on a new titled The New Girl and that she was going to play a hooker and a purse snatcher.
At that time the news was shocking to us because we had just spoke to her on the set of The Soul Man and she hadn’t mentioned it at all.
Well, this weekend, at The Merge Summit we got a chance to speak with Nash, and she told us that she is no longer part of that project. There are more details coming about this soon..
Oh yeah, as we reported we did hear that she is dropping a new book though.
Nash is currently on the show The Soul Man on TV Land with Cedric The Entertainer and debuts Wednesdays at 10PM/9pm Central.
