We discovered from our sources that comedic actor Affion Crockett is making new moves in film, television and in music! With all of that happening, he stumbled in comedy history in the process! What are we talking about? Well, let’s dive right into it;
First, we discovered that Affion has landed a part in the new Marlon Wayans film that he is co-directing titled Smart Ass, and he will be joined by actress Essence Atkins. We hear that Mike Tiddes is also directing the film. The film is currently described as a spoof of a various found-footage pics like Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside Me.
While all of that is going on, Affion is also currently in development of a new television show that we hear is going to be a sitcom! No word yet on what the show will be about or what network, but we will get that info soon!
But the biggest news is that Affion (in conjunction with Walter Latham of Latham Entertainment), who has created a major following on YouTube and has averaged almost 9 MILLION views per parody video, is about to drop a parody album titled Watch The Clone. We hear that it will consist of all of his rap impersonations while every song will have a corresponding video on YouTube! That has never been done before, and if successful (which it should be based on the amount of subscribers Affion already has), it will easily take the comedy game to another level for comedians who are using social media to be discovered.
