Comedian and radio show host DL Hughley is taking a quick timeout to shoot a new special! According to our sources, we hear that Hughley is preparing to shoot his new comedy special titled Contrarian, in Philadelphia at The Mariam Theater on May 11th for Netflix.
As you already know, Hughley is currently on tour with Cedric The Entertainer, George Lopez, and Eddie Griffin on The Comedy Get Down Tour (which also had a quick run on BET). While touring, Hughley also finds time to continue to be an author (his latest book is titled How Not To Get Shot which debuts June 6th) while doing a daily radio broadcast nationally on The DL Hughley Show. His new special Contrarian is his sixth comedy special.
