We just discovered that comedian and legendary actor David Alan Grier, probably best know from his stint on In Living Color has just joined a new CBS comedy set to launch this fall! The new comedy, titled Bad Teacher, is an adaptation of the hit 2011 movie that starred Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.
The new comedy show will be written by Hilary Winston and produced by the film’s writers-producers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. As in the original film, the new CBS comedy will center “on a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcee who becomes a teacher to find her next husband”.
Word has it that Grier will play the school’s principal. In the movie the principal was played by John Michael Higgins.
