It seems that the new football season has kicked off with more impressive television numbers as the National Football League tends to do every year, especially thanks to the ever popular fantasy football leagues. With the growing numbers of viewers it seems that there are also a growing numbers of fantasy football leagues and as we discovered, some of your favorite comedians have also joined in on the fun.
According to our sources, several comedians have started the league which we hear is titled Jokes And Jocks and features comedians such as Cedric The Entertainer, Guy Torry, Rodney Perry, Griff, Rodman, and more AND also features several athletes/celebrities. The league started several weeks ago and we hear that it is the brain child of comedian Jay Phillips who is also the league’s Commissioner. The new league will be the first of its kind to engage social media as every celebrity involved will send in their picks to the Commish (usually via their cell phones) and Phillips will post their responses for the general audience to view as he is also the show’s host. What makes this a ‘must see’ web series is it’s a league that features comedians; so you can bet that there will be a lot of trash talking and several key funny moments.
