Comedian Rudy Rush To Take Over Nationally Syndicated ‘Doug Banks Morning Show’!

The Humor Mill has just discovered the news that comedian Rudy Rush has just joined the ranks of comedians who have their own nationally syndicated radio show, such as Steve Harvey, DL Hughley, Russ Parr and Rickey Smiley!

We hear that after the passing of the great Doug Banks, who was a national radio icon which Rush had been a co-host on for years, Rush was recently asked to sit in for only a couple of days right after Banks’ funeral, and it turned out that the execs loved him so much he was asked to stay on with Dee Dee Renee!

This is amazing news as Rush was already on in the Houston market hosting his own Hip Hop show on 93.7 The Beat, and with this new gig, now sees himself in 25 plus additional markets on The Doug Banks Show! (This name is sure to change soon)

That’s not it for Rush; he is in final stages of taping ANOTHER stand-up comedy special and may even see his special fall under the Hartbeat Banner from Kevin Hart’s camp as Rush is in negotiations to move that project forward, along with the success of his album. We even hear that there is something brewing in the Dallas area from Rudy Rush along with the taping of Kevin Hart’s new Comedy Central show, but we will fill you in on more of that later as soon as we find out more details.
