Phat Tuesdays’ was a main attraction at the very popular Comedy Stores’ main room in the 1990’s luring many well-known comedians to drop in to try out new material, stay fresh and to get exposure. The show was also known for the discovery of many of today’s top comedians like Chris Tucker. Mega-stars made regular appearances including Torry, Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, Nick Cannon, Tommy Davidson, Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, Dave Chappelle, Cedric The Entertainer, Bernie Mac, Mo’Nique and Gary Owen among others.
