Today we discovered the news that comedian Chris Spencer (creator of BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood) is hosting the 2014 ABFF HOLLYWOOD AWARDS, which is the urban version of The Academy Awards.
The ABFF is The American Black Film Festival and we hear they are ramping up this five-minute “web show” scheduled to premiere online February 19th to eventually be on television.
The ABFF Hollywood Awards is a brand new venture as it is an online platform created to give fans a voice in naming the best Black movies and performances of the past year. Voting is now open for the show as it will follow Chris as he attempts to track down the winners to get their acceptance speech.
