Biggie’s Son Is Getting Ready To Drop His Debut Album

Posted May 29, 2017

Christopher Jordan Wallace, better known to the rest of the world as the son of Biggie Smalls and Faith Evans, is gearing up to make his own first impression on the music world.

According to a report by the Evening Standard, Christopher Jr. has completed work on an album with his half-brother Joshua Jahad Russaw, and the project is scheduled for release later this year. The pair are part of a rap duo called CJ and Jahad.

Wallace, who is 20, spoke about the upcoming release of his music: “At a young age I always knew I wanted to do music, it was inevitable. My family always had my back, whatever I’ve wanted to do they’ve supported. They were always giving me advice on what to do and how to go about things.”

CJ also said that he’s interested in pursuing filmmaking. In particular, he’s aiming to tell the story of his youngest half-brother, who is living with autism. He told the Evening Standard, “I’d like to tell the story of what he is going through. A lot of people don’t understand. I want to bring awareness to that and special needs in general.”

There’s no release date for CJ’s debut album just yet, but he has been flexing his acting muscles recently, appearing in the 2016 film Kicks alongside Mistah F.A.B. and Mahershala Ali.
